Cerritos College annual Senior Preview Day is just around the corner and we expect to host approximately 1,100 high school seniors this year! This open house is a lively exhibit fair where students will have time to stop at each booth to obtain information, inquire about programs, see demonstrations, and/or participate in an activity. Consider raising awareness of your program/department by hosting a booth from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, with setup at 8:30 am. Each booth rep will receive 1 free lunch voucher for Hot Dog on a Stick food, department sign, plastic table skirt, and a canopy. To register, please complete the online form by Friday, March 24, 2017.

Philosophy Student Conference on Global Warming Guest Speaker: Dr. Roy Scranton, University of Notre Dame Author of Learning to die in the Anthropocene Dr. Scranton will discuss with philosophy students the implications of the Anthropocene, a new epoch in Earth's geological history; an epoch characterized by the arrival of the human species as a geological force. The seminar will address the changes wrought by global warming and how it will affect not just the world's climate and biological diversity, but its very geology and not just for a few centuries, but for millennia.

"Psychology Day" is an undergraduate research conference aimed at raising awareness of Psychology as a scientific discipline on Friday, March 31 from 7:30 am-12:30 pm at Cerritos College*. This event includes a series of guest speaker workshops, a student research poster session, and alumni roundtable discussions. It is a great opportunity to explore the field of Psychology as well as network with peers and faculty members.
